    Abstract
The practice of CI is growing across Europe, of that there is no doubt. In 2004 the Journal of Competitive Intelligence & Management invited leading practitioners, consultants and academics from a range of countries to provide commentaries on the current situation of CI in their country. An overview of the contributions from seven European nations is reviewed here. The countries covered are Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Russian, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
