Selecting persistent glue ear for referral in general practice: a risk factor approach
Risk factors were identified and recommendations made regarding targeted use of audiometry and tympanometry to improve specificity of referral and efficient use of health resources. The paper has resulted in changes in practice to give GPs and parents open access services for monitoring glue ear by audiologists.
