Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
Health and Life Sciences has around 380 members of staff in the Faculty, organised into four Schools: The Schools of Allied Health Sciences, Applied Social Sciences and Leicester School of Pharmacy are located in the Hawthorn Building on the City Campus; The School of Nursing and Midwifery is located on the Charles Frears campus, which is situated some two miles from the City Campus in Leicester. The faculty grouping allows the academic schools to collaborate across the subject boundaries in teaching, consultancy and research. Students in this area have an enquiring mind, good analytical skills, and are concerned about the health and welfare of others.
