dc.description Al-Ajmi developed a TRNSYS model of a ground cooling tube as a PhD project (co-supervised by Hanby and Loveday). Hanby translated the model into Matlab, combined it with an evolution strategy optimization and carried out the search for optimal designs. Hanby was the lead author.
