dc.description The paper falls into areas of numerical methods and applications. A new spectral element method is presented in the paper for Oldroyd-B fluid based on a benchmark problem 4:1 abrupt contraction channel flow, in particular, with different Weissenberg numbers. The impact of this approach is that it lends itself to parallelisation of numerical simulation for Non-Newtonian fluids. en
