Abstract
Description
The aim of the paper is to evaluate Lorenz Curve-based statistical approaches to assess various markers associated with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and consequently improve treatment strategy and patients' welfare with a specific focus group of women. The research was carried out on Qatari population of over 1.5K patients, being the largest reported in the literature. The paper's finding was found to be significant with a note that women with AMI have higher in-hospital mortality. The study therefore suggests that regional and global measures to fight coronary artery disease and its risk factors in women should be placed immediately.
