Revisiting "No to spectacle": self unfinished and Véronique Doisneau.
This essay presents readings of Jérôme Bel's 'Veronique Doisneau' and Xavier Le Roy's 'Self Unfinished' that examines the social and political implications of their use of experimental artistic strategies. It places these in the context of recent discussions of relational aesthetics and of Adorno's discussion of the inhuman.
