dc.description The findings from this study led to the development of a Trust-wide hand antisepsis protocol at Derby Hospitals NHS Acute Trust. The article, showing widespread usage of surgical scrubbing brushes, was also used to secure funding from the Association of Perioperative Practice to research their effectiveness in reducing bacteria. en
